The Foundation currently receives no funding from the Government or the NHS, and the support we have been able to provide to burn survivors has largely been because of people up and down the country who decide to fundraise for us. Our fundraisers contribution over the past 5 years has been so important, from supermarket bag packs, collections and pub quizzes to obtaining sponsorship for skydives, marathons, triathlons and fun runs. Please get in touch to discuss your fundraising ideas, no matter how large or small, as your support will mean we can continue to make it easier to live with burns and scars.
We want to provide as much support to people with burns and scars as we can – but we can only do this with your help. Fundraise for the Foundation today and you’ll be changing someone’s life forever.
Get in touch with Sarah today and we can help you with advice, promotional material and t-shirts to help in your fundraising.
Organising your own event can be fun and rewarding. It’s a very successful way to fundraise too. Over the years we have had supporters arrange many events, including tea parties, fun runs, charity balls and street collections. If you want to get involved but don’t know where to start, then take a look at the How 2 Fundraise website.
Students of all ages support The Katie Piper Foundation and past fundraisers have included a James Bond evening, a comedy night, fashion shows, non-uniform days, film nights, cake sales and even a variety show. Several higher education colleges running beauty therapy courses – no doubt inspired as Katie herself trained as a hairdresser and beauty therapist – have also fundraised for the Foundation, often by providing treatments with donations being made to the charity. If you are looking for a way to get your School, College or University involved with The Katie Piper Foundation then get in touch with us and we would love to discuss your fundraising ideas with you – or if you are a University student, why not nominate us as you university’s RAG charity!
If you want to support the Foundation but find the thought daunting, why not join one of our many fundraising groups that are being created via the online Forum? Or why not set one up yourself?
Start with a collection at your local supermarket – like Lisa Cooke and her friends – and see where you go from there!
If you’re an adrenaline junkie or extreme sport enthusiast, you’ll be glad to know we’ve joined forces with Skyline, who organise skydives, parachute jumpsand other challenges including overseas expeditions and employee fundraising events. Skyline also has its own fundraising facility – doitforcharity.com – so you can create a fundraising page to help you.

We recognise how important Katie is to our fundraising success, and she was honoured to attend several events and activities last year. Unfortunately she is not able to accept the many hundreds of kind invitations, although she does her best to attend as many as she can.
Katie is of course thrilled to see our fundraising activity increasing so strongly. This has allowed us the opportunity to grow our support network, including the KPF Friends, Ambassadors, and other burns survivors. If you would like a Katie Piper Foundation Friend or Ambassador to attend your event, please contact us.
