Leading skincare brand Radical Skincare are supporting The Katie Piper Foundation by donating £2.50 for every UK purchase of their Advanced Peptide Serum and their SPF 30 Skin Perfecting Screen to The Katie Piper Foundation, from October 2015.
Radical Skincare founders Rachel and Liz originally approached the Foundation as they have a particular interest in the support that we provide to burn survivors – their father, the late Dr Richard Edlich, was a pioneer in the US in the field of burns and wound healing, who committed his entire life to making a difference in this field. We are thrilled to have their support and the funds raised will help us in all that we do.” says Katie.
Liz and her sister Rachel Edlich created Radical Skincare in 2011, with the aim of addressing their personal skincare needs – powerful anti-aging skincare for sensitive skin, and to transform the landscape of anti-aging.
“Radical is about more than skincare, it is also about making a radical difference. We are delighted to support The Katie Piper Foundation mission and their work helping the lives of those with burns and scars” says Liz Edlich.
Both sisters grew up in the world of burn healing and skin rejuvenation with their pioneering father Dr Richard Edlich, who had an extraordinary commitment to burn survivors. He devoted his entire life to improve the lives of his patients and both sisters spent time working in their internationally renowned father’s lab in the burn unit of the University of Virginia Hospital, witnessing first-hand the importance of this work.
“We welcome the generous support of Radical Skincare whose funds will help the Foundation’s provision of assistance to burn survivors and those with traumatic scarring throughout their recovery” says KPF Director of Fundraising & Operations, Carol Borwick.
