When friends inspire us to climb mountains!

Thoughts may be turning to spring, but here at The Katie Piper Foundation, we’re still happy to be reminded of snowcapped mountains when we think of what Grace Thorne achieved. KPF Weekend Event 2017

We held our 2017 Weekend Event at the end of September.  We had 60 guests this year – all adults affected by burn injuries and their family/friends/partners.  Activities included: Cupcake decorating A talk on confidence from Katie Piper Mindful walks in nature Personal training Relaxing massage Swimming Camouflage and makeup consultations Craft workshop Vocational workshop Our volunteers, burn survivors themselves, organised the weekend event and led the majority of the activities.          ...

In partnership with leading medical publishers SAGE – we are publishing research in an academic journal entitled Scars, Burns & Healing.

The journal brings together the specialist focus of scar and burns research with the breadth of the science and medicine related to wound healing.
